The feed and its states

Working the feed like an inbox

Read, decide, clear. The contracts you handled stop coming back.

4 min read

The feed is built to be emptied, not browsed. Five tabs with live counts — New, Read, Interested, Applied, Dismissed — and every card carries its state under the fit number.

The states, and what each one does

  • New — you have not looked at it yet.
  • Read — you opened it and moved on.
  • Interested — it goes on the shortlist you come back to.
  • Applied — it leaves the main feed. You bid; it stops competing for your attention.
  • Dismissed — it leaves the main feed too, and nothing like it gets pushed at you.

Anything you moved out can be pulled back from its own tab, so there is no state you can get stuck in.

Bands, not a wall

Strong matches sit at the top. Weaker ones are folded below with an honest label rather than mixed in to make the list look busy. If a day has nothing strong, we say so instead of promoting something mediocre into the top slot.
