For IT & Managed Services

Government IT contracts, without reading 300 notices a week

YNTELRADAR monitors every federal, state and local IT and managed-services solicitation, scores it against your NAICS codes and set-aside status, and sends you only the ones you can win. Federal agencies awarded roughly $778 billion in contracts in FY2025, and IT is one of the largest slices — but it is buried in thousands of notices a month. And it does not stop at finding them: the solicitation documents are read for you and the requirements, deadlines and mandatory pre-bid meetings pulled out, the bid is priced against what the government actually paid, your proposal is drafted, and a step-by-step plan tracks it all the way to Won — in English or Spanish. YNTELRADAR starts with a 7-day free trial of full Pro — cancel in one click, no sales call.

Questions it & managed services ask

How do I find government IT contracts?

Federal IT opportunities are posted on SAM.gov, the official system. The hard part isn't finding the site — it's that thousands of notices post every month and each one runs dozens of pages. YNTELRADAR reads all of them, scores each against your NAICS codes and set-aside status, and sends you only the matches.

What NAICS codes do IT contractors bid under?

The most common are 541512 (Computer Systems Design), 541519 (Other Computer Related Services), 541511 (Custom Programming), 541513 (Facilities Management) and 518210 (Data Processing and Hosting). Most contractors register for too many. A tight set gives you a feed you'll actually read.

Do I need a security clearance to bid on federal IT work?

Not for most civilian agency work. Clearance requirements are stated in the solicitation, usually in Section L or the PWS. Plenty of IT contracts — help desk, endpoint management, web development — require no clearance at all.

How much do federal IT contracts pay?

It ranges from tens of thousands for a small task order to tens of millions for an agency-wide vehicle. The sweet spot for a small IT shop is typically $200K to $5M — large enough to matter, small enough that the primes don't fight you for it.

What is an SDVOSB set-aside and does it help IT contractors?

A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside reserves a contract for businesses with that status. On a set-aside, the pool goes from hundreds of bidders to a handful. If you qualify and aren't claiming it, you're competing against the whole market for no reason.

How long does it take to win a federal IT contract?

From posting to award is commonly 60 to 120 days. The bid itself takes one to three weeks to write. That's why a deadline that quietly moves up nine days in an amendment can kill a bid you'd otherwise have won.

Can a two-person IT company win a government contract?

Yes. Set-asides exist precisely for this. The barrier isn't size — it's finding the right opportunity early enough to write a serious bid, and knowing you actually qualify before you spend two weeks on it.

What's the difference between SAM.gov and YNTELRADAR?

SAM.gov is the source and it's free. It gives you a search box. YNTELRADAR reads every notice, scores it against your business, summarizes it in one line, and tells you when an amendment changes the deadline. You could do all of that yourself — it just takes about ten hours a week.

Everything you get

The whole cycle, on every contract

Finding the notice is the part everyone does — it is public. This is the rest of the job.

Federal, state and local

We are not a SAM.gov reader — SAM is one source of many. State portals, plus cities, counties, school districts and universities. The map shows exactly how deep we go in your state.

Scored against your business

Every notice gets 0–100 against your codes, your states and the work you actually do — with the reasons written out and checkable against the notice itself, not a number you have to trust.

The solicitation documents, read for you

We open the attachments and pull out the scope, what you need to qualify, the conditions and every date — including whether the pre-bid meeting is mandatory. And you can put a question to the documents.

Priced from what the government actually paid

Not what the notice asks for: the award history under the same code, with real amounts, so your number starts from evidence instead of a guess.

Who won

The companies that won comparable contracts under the same code, with the agency, the amount and the date. Where a code has no history on file we say so, instead of showing zeros.

Recompetes

Multi-year contracts coming up for renewal, spotted well before the notice is published — the work starts long before the solicitation does.

Teaming

Partner matching for the work you can't take on alone — and only partners we actually hold a contact for.

The proposal, drafted

A proposal draft built from the solicitation and your profile, the compliance matrix, and the email to the contracting officer. You edit instead of starting from a blank page.

From found to won

The capture plan with its tasks, the deadlines on your calendar — exportable to .ics, which nobody else in this market does — and the bid followed through to its result.

Daily digest and instant alerts

A daily digest built around your profile, instant alerts on what can't wait, and a warning when a deadline moves. The product chases you, not the other way round.

In English and in Spanish

The whole product in English and Spanish — the feed, the emails, the PDFs and everything the AI writes. Not a translated home page.

Every tool in this market covers a slice of that list, and some cover their slice very well. Nobody else covers the whole cycle — that is what we built.
