How do I find federal fiber optic contracts?
They're posted on SAM.gov, but they're scattered: some under construction NAICS codes, some under telecom, some under IT. Contractors routinely miss work because it was filed under a code they weren't watching. YNTELRADAR reads the actual scope, not just the code.
What NAICS codes cover telecom and fiber work?
237130 (Utility Line Construction), 238210 (Electrical and low-voltage cabling), 517311 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers) and 541512 (Network Systems Design). Fiber jobs legitimately appear under all four.
Do I need a facility clearance for federal network work?
For work on classified networks or inside secure facilities, yes. For most civilian agency cabling and infrastructure work, no. The solicitation states it plainly.
How big are federal telecom contracts?
A single-building cabling job might be $200K. A campus fiber backbone or a multi-site network refresh runs into the millions.
Can a regional cabling company compete for federal work?
